Being a teacher: What role can I play in education? ( www.enseignement.be )
The Reform of Qualifications and Positions aims to harmonize the qualifications, positions, and salary scales of primary and secondary school teachers across all networks in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It also seeks to prioritize required qualifications over sufficient qualifications and to establish a system for addressing shortage qualifications. Candidates will be able to easily identify the positions they are eligible for and the salary scales they can expect. Recruitment procedures will be simplified. By linking each course to one (or, in exceptional cases, several) positions, the reform will enhance the qualifications of teaching professionals.
