The electromechanical maintenance agent maintains and repairs machines. It searches for the origin of breakdowns, analyzes their importance and estimates the time required for repairs. He executes small detailed plans of parts to be produced, he reads and interprets electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams and plans. The agent analyzes machine shutdown conditions and determines a troubleshooting procedure.
Outlets:
The electromechanical maintenance agent may notably work in the maintenance department of: production units; SMIs and SMEs; entities with installations: for energy production; heat and cold production; transportation; etc.
Title awarded at the end of the training :
Qualification certificate for “Electromechanical maintenance agent” specific to upper secondary education for social promotion.
Admission requirements:
Hold a lower secondary education certificate.
Description of the training:
The training is spread over three years and includes:
• 1440 course periods divided into 11 training units including teaching activities such as: reading electrical plans, electronics, digital electronics, electrotechnics, technical electrical drawing, processing of technical problems, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, knowledge and use of materials, etc.
• 120 internship periods;
• 40 periods of preparation for the integrated test;
