Supplementary general education towards obtaining the certificate corresponding to the upper secondary education certificate (CESS)
This section aims to enable the student to:
- who is pursuing or has successfully completed a corresponding vocational training program to obtain, by completing additional general education, the Certificate corresponding to the upper secondary education certificate (CESS).
Career opportunities:
Access to public service jobs, to all forms of higher and university education

SUPPLEMENTARY GENERAL EDUCATION COURSE FOR OBTAINING THE CERTIFICATE CORRESPONDING TO THE HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION CERTIFICATE
Admission requirements:
Hold a lower secondary education certificate (CESI) or C2D
and complete a qualifying training course (see conditions circular n°4178 )
Course description:
The training program lasts a minimum of two years and includes:
- A minimum of 520 class periods including: General education (applied mathematics, oral and written expression in French, humanities), Socio-economic skills – personal and civic development, Applied science and technology and communication, etc…
- 120 periods of preparation for the integrated assessment;
